We look forward to being of service to you. Our expert team, led by respected endodontic specialist Drs. Michael Mauger and Matthew Mauger, includes an experienced endodontic staff. We provide the highest standard of professional care in a friendly, comfortable environment.
Dr. Mike Mauger grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended college at Southern Utah University, where he met his awesome wife, Janet. Mike went to dental school in Portland, Oregon at Oregon Health Science University graduating in 1990. He then entered the United States Air Force and served for 11 years. During his time in the Air Force, he lived in Nebraska, Arizona, Texas and Alaska. He completed a residency in general dentistry before specializing in Endodontics. Mike earned his specialty certificate in Endodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1998. He has been in private practice in Alaska for twenty years. Dr. Mauger has been happily married to his wife, Janet since 1984. They have five terrific children and nine active grandkids. Mike is excited to be working alongside of his oldest son, Matt, who is also an endodontist. Mike enjoys spending time with his growing family, relaxing at their cabin in Ninilchik, fishing and serving in his church.
Dr. Matthew Mauger received his Certificate in Endodontics from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University in 2017 where he served as chief resident during his final year. He received his BS in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in 2011 and received his DMD from Oregon Health & Science University in 2015, graduating summa cum laude with high honors.
Dr. Mauger grew up in Alaska and is excited to raise his children here. He enjoys camping, target shooting, watching football and soccer.
